After many years of searching for a digital jukebox that was aesthetically pleasing, easy to use and that would not break the bank, I decided to design and build my own. There are other digital jukeboxes but most were either very expensive or catered to commercial businesses, primarily restaurants and bars. These would not have fit in a home environment. (Who wants a stainless steel slot machine in their living room?) I finally set out to build my own digital jukebox with only one thing in mind: it had to be cool. I installed it in my living room and waited for the response of my wife and kids. They saw it and immediately said "You mean I can access all our music by using this? Cool!" Family and friends had the same reaction to it. They all said it was the coolest thing. In fact, they wanted one of their own. They said that I should sell these. And with that, CoolTouchMusic was started.
